Glucose Sensors

Glucose sensors are called Continuous Glucose Monitors or CGM.

WHICH BEST DESCRIBES YOUR EXPERIENCE with glucose sensors?

CGMs show your sugar reading every 5 minutes

A continuous glucose monitor (CGM) is called many things - but basically it is a sensor or a monitor that measures your sugar levels every few minutes to show you a continuous picture of what’s happening.

Prevent lows and highs before they happen

A CGM is different from a glucose meter because CGMs read your sugar level every few minutes without you doing anything and can give you alerts when you are going too high or too low.

Easy to use, almost fingerstick-free

Most of the CGMs do not need you to check on a meter. They do it on their own. CGMs have a tiny wire that goes under your skin. You can put them in and replace them without a doctor.
